Sammy’s journey began in Kazakhstan, where he and his siblings were found near a dumpster as tiny, sick kittens. A dedicated local rescuer took them in, providing the care they desperately needed. Sadly, most of the litter lost one or both eyes due to an early viral infection, but that never dimmed their playful spirits or their love for cuddles.
With limited adoption opportunities for pets with disabilities in Kazakhstan,SEN Animal Rescuestepped in, transporting Sammy and his siblings to the Bay Area in search of loving homes. Sammy found his forever family with his foster parents and now plays an important role as a One Off Ceramics helper—quality-checking pieces and even directing product photoshoots! Sammy just turned 4 years old on April 1, 2025!
